Best Smart Tvs of 2024

Overview
Our TV reviews take into account the smart TV systems, but we believe that the picture quality for the price is typically more crucial when purchasing a new TV. This is because you can always replace the built-in system of the TV with a good streaming device, most of which cost less than $50.
The exception to this rule is for budget-friendly televisions, where the cost of the streaming device may make up a substantial portion of the total cost. For this reason, unlike our primary best TVs list, we placed greater emphasis on the smart TV system when evaluating budget models that we had reviewed. Check this article to find yourself the best ones for your demand and need.
What to look for?
1. TCL 65" Class 6-Series 4K
For the last five years the TCL 6-Series has been our favorite TV for the money, and the 2022 version — also known as the R655 series — is no exception. This TV has an excellent image thanks to mini-LED tech and well-implemented full-array local dimming that helps it run circles around just about any other TV at this price.
It improves upon the previous R635 series with more gaming extras and a new center-mount stand that you can elevate to make room for a soundbar, although the new 85-inch size has standard legs. And finally, the Roku TV operating system is our hands-down favorite.
2. TCL 50" Class 4-Series 4K
The picture quality of the TCL 4-Series Roku TV was slightly inferior to the Vizio V-Series (below), but we prefer the TCL's Roku smart TV system over Vizio's SmartCast, which is why it is ranked higher on our list. Although the Vizio offers Dolby Vision, Bluetooth connectivity, and AMD FreeSync with a variable refresh rate, the TCL lacks these features. However, we prioritize superior smart TV streaming over these features at the budget level. The prices indicated below are for the 50-inch model.
3. LG C2 Series 65-Inch Class OLED evo Gallery Edition Smart
4. Hisense U8H QLED
In our comparison, we slightly favored the TCL 6-Series over the Hisense as a mid-priced model, but the Hisense is still a strong competitor. Its excellent image quality is highlighted by its best-in-class brightness, which improves its performance in bright rooms and makes HDR content stand out. Although the Hisense has better contrast and is actually brighter than the TCL, the TCL's slightly more accurate image gave it the overall edge. Unlike the TCL, the Hisense uses Google TV, and it also includes an ATSC 3.0 tuner. In conclusion, both TVs are great options and you can't go wrong with either one.
